What is LET?

The Licensure Examination for Teachers (LET), also known as the Teachers Board Exam, is administered by the Professional Regulation Commission for aspiring teachers in the country.

Passing the LET is a requirement before an individual can officially practice the teaching profession and become a Licensed Professional Teacher (LPT) in the Philippines.

The examination covers several areas including:

  • General Education
  • Professional Education
  • Specialized Subjects (for Secondary Level)

Verification of Ratings and Registration

Successful examinees are advised to wait for the official announcement regarding:

  • Online registration schedules
  • Oath-taking ceremony
  • Initial registration requirements
  • Issuance of Professional Identification Card (PIC)

The verification of ratings will also become available online a few working days after the release of results.

A Milestone Worth Celebrating

Passing the LET is more than just obtaining a professional license. For many Filipinos, it represents years of sacrifice, financial struggles, academic pressure, and personal perseverance.

Behind every new LPT is a story of determination, from students who balanced work and studies, to parents who returned to school, and to graduates who never gave up after multiple attempts.

To all the successful examinees of the March 2026 LET:

Congratulations, future educators and newly licensed teachers!

Your hard work has finally paid off, and your journey in shaping future generations is only beginning.
